ARCH — short for Advocacy, Recovery, Community, and Humanity — is a recovery-centered group that provides peer support grounded in science rather than religion. Its mission is to create safe, inclusive, and equitable spaces for people seeking healing from trauma, addiction, and related struggles.

ARCH intentionally centers the voices of those who are often marginalized, including LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, and others whose recovery journeys may be shaped by systemic oppression. The group recognizes that issues such as white supremacy, patriarchy, queerphobia, and other forms of injustice have direct impacts on mental health and addiction, and it works to address these holistically.

Rather than following traditional recovery models that may rely on spiritual or religious frameworks, ARCH takes a science-informed, human-centered approach. This includes supporting evidence-based strategies for recovery, while also valuing lived experience as an essential form of knowledge.

To make support widely accessible, ARCH hosts regular Zoom meetings, providing a safe online space for connection, peer support, and recovery-focused discussions.

At its core, ARCH is about building community, empowerment, and resilience. It strives to offer consistent, compassionate peer support while advocating for broader systemic change that makes recovery more accessible and sustainable for everyone.

Hail You
